You agree that you will not be using this website for unlawful purposes and would bear all the laws and regulations in mind. You agree to not use this website in a way that may impact its performance, corrupt the content, or in any way hinder the functionality of this website. You also agree not to compromise the safety of this website or try to enter restricted areas of this website.
You consent to be entirely responsible for any claim, liability, expense, costs, and losses that include legal fees that initiate a violation of the mentioned terms and conditions.
Project Timeline: The client understands that Animation Iconix's product is collaborative in nature. So, the turnaround time of each project is contingent upon the client's approval. The client understands that the target date is not a deadline, and certain situations may come up during the production process that delays the project. But, in general, a typical project takes around 3-5 weeks to complete once we receive a completed creative brief. Though based on the complexity or simplicity, the timeline can be increased or lessened.
Terms: Animation Iconix requires a deposit upfront to start production as agreed upon in the work order. The final balance shall be paid upon the final approval of the complete draft. The client understands that Animation Iconix will not release the final mp4 file until the balance has been settled.
Finished Product: The project is considered completed when a 1920 x 1080 MP4 Video File is delivered to the client. Files will be delivered through a file-sharing service such as DropBox or YouSendIt. Files will not be sent on discs.
File Ownership: The client has complete ownership rights to the Mp4 and can display it where they want online. However, the client does not have ownership rights to the source files. Animation Iconix maintains a copy of the source files on-site and will not deliver them to the client. Ownership rights are only granted to the customer upon payment of the final balance owed. Ownership of video files will remain with Animation Iconix until final approval, and final balance paid.
Cancellation: Animation Iconix reserves the right to cancel your order at any time and provide a complete refund.
Promotion Policy: If a client has signed up for services during a promotional period and later decides to cancel without any services/work delivered only 75% will be of the amount paid will be refunded. Keeping in mind that resources are usually used and preparations made during this time.
Additional Edits: From time to time, our clients return to us even after their project completion and request additional edits. We reserve the right to edit your video after the order is complete. There will be an hourly fee associated with any additional work beyond the project's original scope.
Watermark: Animation Iconix may choose to watermark any final video drafts until complete payment is recieved.

After signing up for a project with us, the client will get an email invitation from the Teamwork portal. The client will have to accept the invite and set a new password to get in touch with their project manager for the required communication needed to complete the project. Once the invitation has been accepted, the client can sign in to the Teamwork Portal.

We will send a welcome email with a creative brief.
The client will have to submit the completed creative brief for review.
We will then write a script with a text-based visual direction.
Client and we will discuss the script and determine which features work best for the concept. Animation Iconix will make up to five rounds of changes to the script.
The client will provide written approval of the final script via email.
We will then record the Voiceover based on choices made by the client. The client will email their final choice for voice-over artists. Further, we will record two takes. And we will have the opportunity to review and ask for changes if necessary if they are unhappy with the voice talent’s performance.
If, due to any requirement of the client on re-doing, animating, or embedding their logo, Animation Iconix will only accept an EPS or AI file format.
Animation Iconix will provide either a still image or scene board of each scene. The client will have the opportunity to make five rounds of edits to the design. Once we get into the animation phase, the client will make five rounds of changes to the animation preview. Upon the client’s approval, we will proceed to the completion. The client will have the opportunity to review the entire animation and submit their changes. Suppose the client submits multiple rounds of changes. In that case, Animation Iconix reserves the right to charge additional fees based on the scope of the change requests in alignment with the agreed scope of work at the initial stage, also communicated in the Service Agreement.
Approvals & Authorization: The client understands that there are several approvals in the process, and each approval is an acknowledgment that Animation Iconix can progress to the next stage. The client will have the right to choose and approve the Script with Visual Notes, Voice, Character Style, Animation Preview, Complete Version of Animation.
Once a full draft/complete version of the presentation is delivered to the client, they have the right to make adjustments to elements within the animation. However, the client can not decide to make widespread changes to the visuals or structure of the story.
Animation Iconix will then provide a quote for the additional work to complete the project. We will make two final changes after the client receives the full draft/complete version. Any additional changes beyond the two final rounds of changes will be charged to the client hourly ($150/Hour).
Promotion of Product: Animation Iconix retains the right to use any video we have produced in our Demo Reel, Website, Vimeo, YouTube, Trade Shows, Conferences, or Social Media.
Forfeiture of Payment: Animation Iconix offers a collaborative service and requires that all clients fill out a strategic & creative brief that provides on-point details and directions before Animation Iconix can formally start a project. If the client does not formally email us to hold a project for up to 3 months, they understand that they forfeit any initial payment already made to Animation Iconix.
Contract Priority: The client understands and agrees that our terms and conditions supersede the agreement signed by our representative from Animation Iconix. The client agrees to allow our terms and conditions to govern the order by signing a Service Agreement. The only factor in the Service Agreement that can supersede the terms and conditions is the number of revisions and any additional prices rate our representative sets.
Processing & Service Fees: The processing and services fees will also be included in the total order amount at the time of sign-up. They are non-refundable and will appear separately in the client's statement. These charges won't be more than $3 regardless of the total order amount.
Change of Mind: Reasons such as ‘change of mind’, ‘disagreement with partner’ or other reasons that do not pertain to the service will not be subject to refund under any circumstances.
